The Coronavirus pandemic made borders in Europe visible again. One might think that as a result the need for transnational cooperation has decreased. But on the contrary: Times like these call for even more cooperation to build a stronger and more resilient Europe! Our projects KETGATE, ENTeR, INNO-WISEs, SULPiTER and ENERGY@SCHOOL are competing for the REGIOSTARS 2020 awards. You can help them win the public choice award by voting for them on the REGIOSTARS website before Thursday, 9 July 2020. The winners will be announced in an awards ceremony during the EU Regions Week in October 2020.

EU Regions Week: Join our talk
We will host an EU Regions Talk session on how central Europe copes with the socio-economic aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic. We believe more than ever that #cooperationiscentral for regions and cities to become more resilient places in a green and just way. In this talk, we will make an engaging case for cooperation based on concrete examples from our projects. We will also give you a sneak preview of our new funding programme for 2021-27.

Evaluation: Help us analyse the impact of our funding
Following an operational evaluation with excellent results, we are now looking for a service provider to evaluate the impact of our funding on regional development and cohesion in central Europe. Funding: Stay tuned on Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE 2021-27
Over the past months we made great progress on shaping our future funding programme. Member states discussed thematic priorities and specific objectives that are deemed most relevant for transnational cooperation in central Europe. We are currently consulting their choices with you in an open and inclusive process and expect interesting inputs on possible actions and target groups. If you are interested in our future funding for cooperation, we recommend to regularly check our website and follow our social media.
